Drawing on decades of experience in Jewish education and community engagement, Rabbi Laurie partners with synagogues, schools, camps, JCCs, and other organizations to create meaningful learning experiences, strengthen programs, and support staff, volunteers, and lay leaders.

Her areas of expertise include experiential education, curriculum design, family engagement, professional development, worship and ritual, community building, and innovative program design. Projects and partnerships have included:

• APJCC Preschool: teacher coach on integrating Judaics into emergent curriculum

• Northern and Southern California Hadassah: rabbinic consultant for regional conferences

• Camp JCA Shalom: rabbi-in-residence for annual women’s retreat

• Brandeis-Bardin Institute: Jewish educator integrating creative arts and text study for young adults
