Family Engagement
Throughout her career, Rabbi Laurie has created programs that help children, parents, and caregivers connect with Jewish life and with one another. Her focus areas have included early childhood music and literacy, parent support groups, family learning experiences, Shabbat programs, holiday celebrations, and community-building initiatives. A supportive community for parents navigating disability, diagnosis, and advocacy, grounded in Jewish wisdom, shared experience, and mutual support.
Tiny Treks Teva
An outdoor Jewish family program blending nature exploration, storytelling, Jewish values, and cooperative play. Designed for young children and their families, Tiny Treks Teva fostered connection to community, the natural world, and Jewish life.
Storytime Shabbat
A joyful family experience hosted in local public libraries, combining stories, music, movement, and Jewish celebration for families with young children from diverse backgrounds.
